On our series of Saturday master-classes you will learn about the country’s rich cultural heritage. Through storytelling, you will be introduced to the origin of the product, the qualities and philosophical meaning behind each traditional product.
You will learn how to make traditional crafts including felt, embroidery, chiy mat, kurak patchwork, pottery as well as nomads’ bread and fried tea.
Along the Silk Road exchange continued for hundreds of years between people of different regions. Artisan products are one of its major legacies and have become foundations of cultural identity for people along the Silk Road.
