In the galaxy of stage stars of the operatic art of Kyrgyzstan, one of the first places, undoubtedly, belongs to the People's Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the International Music Prize named after I. Erkin KASYMOV's opera repertoire includes more than 60 parts. Few of the singers manage to embody on stage such a number of diverse images that make up a whole gallery: Semetey, Chubak, Synchybek, Madigal, Khan, Lyuchey-fu, Toktogul, Kurmanbek, Sary, Manas, Figaro, Rigoletto, the Most Serene, Tomsk, Tonio, Scarpia , Escamillo, Stefan, Belcore, Amonasro and many others. His baritone, rare in beauty and power of expressiveness, delights with its power, breadth of range, plasticity, expressiveness, nobility.
Erkin KASYMOV is not only an outstanding singer, but also a talented dramatic actor. Chamber performance, which is distinguished by a high sense of style, extraordinary sincerity, emotional fullness and freedom, has won great success. The singer's repertoire includes world classics, songs of Kyrgyz melodists and composers, works of composers from the CIS countries.

In 2005, Erkin Kasymov was awarded the honorary title of Golden Voice-Baritone of the 20th Century by the International Charitable Foundation for Science, Education and Culture named after Mustafa Kemal "Ataturk" (Turkey), and the Art Council of the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater nominated him for the State Prize named after Toktogul for concert performance.
The geography of Erkin KASYMOV's touring activities is very extensive and truly immense. He is a member of the jury of the International Vocal Competition (Astana) and a participant in the largest opera festivals: Moscow Stars in 1979, Belarusian Opera Festival in 1980 (Minsk, Belarus), Baltic Autumn in 1982, "BAM" in 1979 (Tynda, Russia), Decades of Kyrgyz art in Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Turkey, Cyprus, Russia. His art was applauded by the opera houses of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, Minsk, Riga, Tallinn, cities of the Caucasus, Siberia, Central Asia.
