    • Day 1

      Arrival in Bishkek

      Acclimatization Hike to Ala Archa

      Today, you will venture into the picturesque Ala Archa National Park for an acclimatization hike. As you ascend the trails surrounded by majestic peaks and alpine landscapes, you will have the opportunity to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the Kyrgyz nature. The hike will help you adjust to the higher altitude and prepare you for the exciting days ahead. In the evening, you will reach Ratzek Hut, a cozy mountain shelter, where you will spend the night, enveloped by the tranquility of the wilderness.

      Transfer to Kadjy Sai

      Journey to Djangart Pass

      Today, you will embark on a thrilling journey towards Djangart Pass, situated at an impressive altitude of 3700 meters. Riding on sturdy horses, you will traverse a cliffside road, navigating the rugged terrain. It is crucial to start early, allowing ample time to cross the pass and reach a suitable camping site before nightfall. As you ascend higher into the mountains, the air becomes crisp and invigorating, and the panoramic vistas unfold before your eyes, showcasing the raw beauty of the Kyrgyz landscapes.

    • Day 7

      Setting up Camera Traps in the Valley

      Under the guidance of the Snow Leopard Foundation rangers, you will divide into groups today, each assigned specific goals for camera trap deployment. You will embark on radial trips along the valley, venturing deeper into the snow leopard habitat. As you traverse the wilderness, you will set up and collect camera traps, strategically placing them in areas where snow leopards are likely to roam. This hands-on experience will provide invaluable insights into the monitoring and research methods employed in snow leopard conservation.

    • Day 8

      Deeper into the Valley

      Immerse yourself further into the remote valley as you journey deeper into the snow leopard habitat. The untouched wilderness and dramatic landscapes will captivate your senses, as you continue to seek ideal spots for setting up camp. Surrounded by towering peaks and pristine nature, you will establish a temporary home for the next two nights, allowing you to fully embrace the tranquility and solitude of the mountains.

    • Day 9

      Continued Camera Trapping and Return to Camp

      Building upon the previous day's efforts, you will once again divide into teams and embark on camera trapping activities. As you traverse the valley, setting up and collecting camera traps, you will deepen your understanding of the diverse wildlife that coexists with the elusive snow leopards. In the evening, you will return to camp, reflecting on the day's discoveries and packing your belongings in preparation for the journey back.

    • Day 10

      Return to Uchkoshkon

      Today marks the beginning of your return journey to Uchkoshkon, retracing your steps through the awe-inspiring landscapes that have become familiar over the past days.       Return to Bishkek

      Visit Snow Leopard Foundation Headquarters

      Departure from Bishkek

      As your snow leopard photo hunting tour comes to an end, it is time to bid farewell to Bishkek.
