The freedom-loving ancient Kyrgyz greyhound is a taigan, an indispensable assistant to livestock breeders, shepherds and hunters.

Taigan! Let's preserve this heritage and the pride of all the people.

Within the framework of the ethno-festival “Homeland of Kara-Kush”, from June 15 to June 30, the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic will host an exhibition “Priceless Ancestral Legacies: the Taigan”.
