Depart from Sierra Coffee Tash Rabat in Bishkek at 8 o’clock. From Bishkek you will travel to the suburb of Tokmok, home to the famous historic landmark, Burana Tower. You will spend 1 hour at the tower learning about the ancient city of Balasagun and its importance as a Silk Road destination. Climb to the top of the tower and look out over the valley, imaging the world as it looked, 800 years ago. From Burana Tower, you will travel to Eolian Castles, nicknamed the Grand Canyon of Kyrgyzstan. A two hour hiking trek will take you to the canyon floor, where you will stop for lunch, surrounded by a stunning display of Mother Nature’s beauty and power. After you soak in the panorama, you’ll return to the car and depart for your next destination – Chong Kemin River. Pile into a raft and adventure through the valley on the white water rapids. At the conclusion of your rafting excursion, your driver will meet you and bring you to the guest house. Once you settle in, join the rest of your group for a bonfire, complete with shashlik (Kyrgyz style kebabs) and drinks.
Depart from Kemin guest house at 8:30. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain scenery, including Orto-Tokoi water reservoir, as you travel to Kyzart village. Get out, stretch your legs and enjoy and traditional Kyrgyz lunch before saddling up for a 6 hour horseback trek to Song Kol. Spend the evening resting at the yurt camp on the shores of this pristine, glacial lake.
Depart from Song-Kol Lake at 8:30. Today you will head to Issyk-Kul Lake, the world’s second highest alpine lake. You will arrive at the yurt camp, located in the foothills of the Terskei Ala Too Mountains. Settle in and join the rest of your group for a delicious, traditional lunch prepared by the Yurt camp’s proprietress. In the afternoon, you will watch a demonstration of traditional eagle hunting with former members of the Kyrgyz National Team and 5th generation eagle hunters. Make sure to get your picture with one of their champion eagles! Relax by the shores of the lake in a soviet truck that has been converted to a mobile sauna. Complete your evening at the yurt camp listening to traditional folk music of Kyrgyzstan, performed by a local family of musicians and watching the sun set over the immaculate lake.
Depart from the yurt camp at 8:30 and head for Karakol, with a few exciting detours along the way. Your first stop will be Fairytale Canyons. Keep your eyes peeled for the sleeping dragon of legend as you walk amongst the rocky pillars. Your next stop is Barskoon Waterfall. A short hike into the gorge will bring you to these astonishing cascades. Spend some time exploring the area before returning to your car for the next destination –Jeti – Oguz. These red sandstone cliffs, located just outside Karakol City are perhaps one of the most iconic images of the Issyk-Kul region. After lunch in Karakol, take a walking tour around the city to see some of its famous sites, including the Dungan Mosque and the Russian Orthodox Church.
Enjoy the picturesque scenery on your hike to the Altyn Arashan hot springs. When you arrive sit back and relax in the soothing waters. In the afternoon, hike back to Karakol where you’ll get a taste of the city’s most famous food, Ashlan-fu.
Depart for Cholpon-Ata. Once you arrive, spend the remainder of the morning exploring the vast petroglyph fields outside the city. Around noon, head to the city for lunch then relax on one of Cholpon-ata’s sandy beaches. In the evening, watch the sun set over Kyrgyzstan’s stunning mountains while on a lake cruise.
Return to Bishkek
During the tour all of your meals will be provided. Most meals will be prepared specially for the group by each destination's host.

All accommodations for the duration of the tour will be provided. (2 night in guesthouse, 2 nights yurt camp, 1 night hotel)
