Nationally renowned artists and favourite songs will be revealed from a completely new perspective: you will hear author’s arrangements, enhanced by the powerful energy of the symphony orchestra and choral polyphony. These will be soundtracks from films starring the legendary actor and artist Suymenkul Chokmorov. But not only them: the concert programme will include musical works from other national films of different years, not only from the era of the Kyrgyz miracle of cinematography.

With this concert we are completing the cycle of cultural events to support and develop Kyrgyz cinema (in 2024 it will be an acting competition, master classes from the coryphees of the stage and film critics of international renown, film screenings – you can still catch them!).
