We will meet you in fabulous Samarkand - one of the most important cities on the Silk Road. After check-in and briefing we will head to Registan - a stunning architectural complex to watch the sunset. Registan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to three magnificent madrassas built in the 15th and 17th centuries. After the excursion you will have dinner at a view restaurant.
The first half of the day will be devoted to visiting the must-see attractions of Samarkand, including the Shah-i-Zinda mausoleum, the Ulugbek Observatory and the Gur-Emir mausoleum, where the body of the famous Tamerlane rests. You will be offered an excursion to an ancient silk factory. These are the best examples of
Islamic culture in the modern world. We will visit a local winery to taste some of the famous Uzbek sweet table wines. Azure Samarkand is a real oriental fairy tale, as if it came from the lips of the famous Scheherazade. After the exciting program, we will go to Bukhara, where you will have a walk through the evening city.
In the morning we will go to the Summer Palace, built at the end of the 19th century - the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara, Alim Khan. The palace complex consists of palace buildings, a harem, a garden with fountains, peacocks and pools where hundreds of his concubines once frolicked. You can also stroll through the old market and feel the spirit of an oriental bazaar. In
the evening we will visit the home of a local family, where a pompous Bukharian dinner awaits us. This is a great opportunity to experience Uzbek hospitality and learn more about the culture of the country.
In the morning we will say goodbye to Bukhara. You will see buildings built in the 9th century, hear the noise of the local market, feel the spicy smell of spices and the outlines of an ancient fortress, madrassas and minarets. Then we will go to Khiva - one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. 430 km of desert separate these two ancient strongholds. Lunch awaits us in the middle of the
desert, caravan style. Khiva is a real pearl of the Khorezm oasis. Built more than 2,500 years ago, the city of Khiva retains its unique oriental flavor and former luxury. This is where the famous Silk Road passed. Trade was in full swing here and life itself was in full swing in the fabulous capital between the two deserts of Asia.
We will go to the Kyzyl-Kum desert: a few kilometers from Khiva there is a well-preserved Ayaz-Kala fortress, built in the 4th-5th centuries. After a short excursion around Ayaz-Kale, we will arrive at the yurt camp for lunch. You will have the opportunity to try the Porsche Cayenne on the desert dunes and compare its handling with the ships of the desert, the camels. Next we will return to Ichan-Kala, a fortress in the center of Khiva, where we will devote the rest of the day to exploring the historical values of the city. Ichan Kala is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, containing many iconic landmarks such as the Kalta Minor Minaret, the Islam Khoja Complex and the Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah.
The time has come to say goodbye to hospitable Khiva. After breakfast we will visit the Nurullabai Palace - the residence of the Khiva Khan, built at the beginning of the last century. We will drive through the old city and take you to the airport of Urgench, located 30 km from the city.
Explore the timeless beauty of Samarkand's Registan, Bukhara's ancient markets, and Khiva's historic fortresses, tracing the footsteps of traders along the legendary Silk Road.
Immerse yourself in Uzbekistan's rich heritage with visits to iconic landmarks like the Shah-i-Zinda mausoleum, the Gur-Emir mausoleum, and the Ayaz-Kala fortress, while savoring traditional cuisine and experiencing genuine hospitality.
Embark on a desert adventure as you traverse the Kyzyl-Kum desert, marvel at ancient fortresses, and experience the thrill of riding a Porsche Cayenne on sand dunes, all amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Central Asia.
